In Kapurthala, police arrest one person for murder

The police on Friday arrested one person and booked him for murder in connection with a group of people beating a man to death in Kapurthala, Punjab, dismissing the claim of possible sacrilege. पंजाब के लुधियाना कोर्ट में गुरुवार दोपहर हुए बम ब्लास्ट में मारे गए व्यक्ति की पहचान गगनदीप सिंह (30) के रूप में हुई है। गगनदीप सिंह पंजाब पुलिस का ही मुलाजिम था जिसे 2 साल पहले महकमे से बर्खास्त कर दिया गया था। लुधियाना जिले के खन्ना सदर थाने में मुंशी रहते हुए गगनदीप को अगस्त-2019 में हेरोइन के साथ गिरफ्तार किया गया। ड्रग माफिया से लिंक के कारण उसे पंजाब पुलिस से बर्खास्त कर दिया गया। गगनदीप के खालिस्तानी संगठन बब्बर खालसा इंटरनेशनल (BKI) से लिंक सामने आ रहे हैं। Bhaskar
